It is with great excitement that we are announcing our latest exhibition presenting the vast variety within contemporary art of southern Africa. ‘Dreamscapes‘ will look at the concept of ‘imaginary space‘ as a complement of ‘real space‘ allowing artists to explore new areas between ‘reality‘ and ‘desire‘. It will propose a view of the imaginary as an empowering instrument for transforming experiences and encouraging the process of coming to terms with the past, as well as expectations, longings and desires.
